Build It Up Construction specializes predominantly in home renovation.

Challenge:

The Toronto real estate market is very strong and has been for years. Buying larger homes is very expensive compared to raising the roof on a smaller house - so this is what they wanted to promote.

Solution:

The owner decided to hire an actress known for a show she is in on HGTV. I came up with the idea for a video and wrote the script. The target audience was small homeowners in the east end of Toronto who couldn't afford a bigger house nearby, but could consider putting a second floor on their bungalow. The video kicks-off the process by which they find out what is viable, since the little houses built in the 50s are sturdy enough to take a second floor.
